Character Question

We leave for Disney in less than 2 weeks and was wondering what characters have been strolling around lately? TIA

This week we saw Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook, Belle, Cinderella & her Fairy Godmother, Snow White, the Mad Hatter, Alice in Wonderland and Aladdin. In Toontown we saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald. I am sure I am forgetting some....they seemed to be everwhere!

Your wording "strolling around" would have meant little to me before this week as we are used to the Florida scene where the characters ALWAYS have a cast member to keep order, have a line to stand-in, etc. It was actually quite bizarre to see characters roaming/strolling around un-escorted.
In one way it was fun and spontaneous and on another if it had been packed it would have been very difficult to get autographs and photos as parents thrust their children toward the character without any concern about who may have been standing there waiting their turn (patiently....or not!)

Ariel has her own special area is Tommorowland by the Buzz Lightyear ride. Each character is only out for 15 minutes so get to the line fast because they do cut it off!

There was no line on some of the Characters. It's a mess, a complete disorganized chaos. Some do though which is quite a relief.

ron - I must agree with you! I was trying to put it nicely but after experiencing WDW and the way they handle the characters. We routinely were irritated (especially DH) at the disorganized chaos while awaiting the characters. If it had been any busier at the park we would have avoided them altogether. (We had never seen Cinderella with her fairy Godmother but by then my kids were tired of the character mess!)
