Hello.. We love to meet characters, take pictures, and get autographs. Does anyone have a recent character guide from the parks that they can post please? I'd like to get an idea of where to see try to see the characters that are there. Or if anyone knows an online site that has this for DLR? Thanks so much.

I could be very wrong here but I looked and never found a guide to let me know which characters were appearing where and when. What I do know is that I see characters everywhere all of the time throughout the parks... much more than I ever saw at WDW... by a long shot. I found Mickey at Mickey's House in Toontown and that schedule was available outside of the house when I went. Good luck finding the 100% accurate answers. I know you'll get them since I'm the first to reply.

Thanks for the reply back.

I thought that the handouts/guides they give you at the park posts the times when characters will be out (when and where).. but I cold be wrong..

Does anyone who's recently been to the park have one of the guides? Does it show this? If so, can you please post? Thanks so much.

There are certain characters that have set places:
Mickey at the end of his house in ToonTown
Assorted Princesses at the Princess Fantasy Faire
Assorted Pixies in Pixie Hollow
Assorted Winnie the Pooh characters at Pooh's corner
Matar & Lightnin McQueen across from Soarin'
etc.

Other characters can be found as you enter the main gates to DL, all around the City Hall area, over in Frontierland, Brer Bear & Brer Fox like to hang out by Splash Mtn, Buzz over in Tomorrowland, assorted characters in front of the sun fountain in DCA & strolling down Hollywood Blvd area.

I thought the daily guide did give you some times & characters but not nearly all of them.....those you run upon by surprise!!

Good luck in your search!!! Character meals is another great way to get some one on one time with characters.

The predetermined meet and greet areas usually have a set opening and closing time.

The Princess Fantasy Faire (or guess which 3 princesses you're going to see because you don't know who will be there) generally opens one hour after Disneyland itself opens and closes around 5:30 to 6:00pm. Mickey greets guests in his movie barn beginning one hour after Toontown opens (and it opens later than Disneyland) and stays there until Toontown closes (see fireworks schedule). If there are no fireworks, Toontown may be open until the park itself closes. And no matter what, there is usually no wait whatsoever to see Mickey in his movie barn the last hour that Toontown is open.

The times guide you pick up at the entrance will list any other times and areas for characters to be out and you can always ask at City Hall if a certain character is scheduled to be in the park that day.

I am looking at my times guide from Nov. 6 (Fri.) to Nov. 8 (Sun.) Park hours are Fri. 9 am to 12 am and Sat./Sun. 8 am to 12 am.

At the bottom listed under Disney Characters:

Pixie Hollow - daily 9 am to 6 pm

Princess Fantasy Faire - daily 9 am to 6 pm

Mickey Mouse - Toontown in his house - Toontown hours (it doesn't list the hours)

Pooh and Friends - 11 am to 5 pm Critter Country

It doesn't list any other characters - just the ones listed above.

Thanks so much! This helps a lot.

We'd love to meet as many characters as we can.. pictures and autographs. Thanks again.

The Times Guide could be more helpful in listing times when you can see characters. (These are not meet 'n greet opportunities, but kids may be invited to participate.)

From one about a month ago, you can learn that the Disneyland Band performs several times a day (in this case, with the exceptions of Tuesday and Wednesday). What it doesn't tell you is that at the 10AM entrance show, you are sure to see Alice & Mad Hatter - others may be present. Those two will also be in the 11AM castle show, where you can also see "fuzzies" including Mickey, Donald and Goofy

The Pearly Band also has a castle show at 2PM with Mary Poppins & Bert, but it is unlisted. This appears to happen on the same relatively busy days in which the above two shows are presented.

Aladdin & Jasmine have meet 'n greet sessions at the Oasis in Adventureland. The Guide is again of no help in determining days and times. The Disneyland Park map does not even point out this location.

There is musical chairs with Mad Hatter and Alice at Coke Corner at 2:30. Last time we went, Peter Pan was there too. Another unlisted event that seems to happen every day.
