Hi everyone. We've been to the World a bunch but have NEVER done a character meal. My children are now 6 and 4 and my 4 yo DD loves princesses so we were thinking of Akershus but they are also picky eaters and I don't think they'd eat anything there.

They really like ALL the Disney characters so it doesn't have to be princesses.

We are staying at OKW again and was wondering if Olivia's still had the character breakfast? If so, is it any good?

Any suggestions? We can do any of them really. We leave in 98 days so I have to start planning now. We will be in the world for 10 days.

Thanks in advance for any help :wave2:

One more thing: My kids like childrens meals but are pretty much limited to noodles, pizza, burgers, fries, chicken strips and breakfast stuff.

Try Chef Mickey's for breakfast! They offer a generic array of characters both children will enjoy. And a pretty diverse selection of food. They even have cereal! Bonus: A quick jump on the monorail to the MK. :bounce:

In the past we have done Chef Mickeys for breakfast each trip, this last trip
we decided to try a different character breakfast and skip Chef Mickeys.
While we liked Donalds Breakfastosauras it just wasn't the same as Chef Mickeys. :guilty: Needless to say we will go to Chef Mickeys on our next trip
in September. :)

We did the Princess Storybook breakfast at Akershus and the breakfast food was standard. It was good and we enjoyed it, much less hectic than CM and they bring the food to your table.

What type of food came to the tabel?

Our favorite is Crystal Palace. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is cool and welcoming, and we LOVE Pooh and Friends!

I just got back and we did Chef Mickey's for dinner and Mickey's Backyard BBQ. We loved both and they have enough choices that even the pickest eater will enjoy.

I'd say Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace. Both have similar type of food for kids (mac cheese, chicken fingers, pasta, etc.) so you really can't go wrong at either places. But be advised! With all the stuff going on around them, kids don't usually sit long enough to eat

Another vote for Princess breakfast in Norway for your little princess. It will be priceless for her to be at one of the princess meals! Bring autograph books and cameras of course. I have 3 girls and we are going there in Oct. again. We chose a late morning time, about 10:00am. You can do a couple things in the Futureworld of Epcot, then go to your ADR, then be done eating when the World showcase opens at 11:00am. You are there and have no crowds exploring the countries first.

Have fun.
Pam
