What is the best character meal you have been to?! :dance3:

Message was from my daughter shes only 11 and new to disboards:banana:

:welcome: to the Dis!!! They are a very friendly and informative bunch here!!

In answer to your question, we visited 5 character meals:

Crystal Palace - breakfast
Chef Mickeys - Dinner
Tusker House - Breakfast
Cape May Cafe - Breakfast
Spiderman at Confisco Grille (IOA) - breakfast.

Overall the best buffet was Tusker House (although crystal palace was a close second) and by far the best character interaction was the Spiderman breakfast (although lousy food!!:lmao:)

Next time we are definitely going back to Tusker House, Crystal Palace and Confisco Grille - we will definitely give Chef Mickeys a miss, and not fussed on CMC, but will add another breakfast at O'Hanas as that seems to get good reviews!!

Hope that helps a little!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Food wise, the best I've been to was the Cinderella's wedding feast at the Grand Floridian. My wife wasn't too keen though as we had no kids with us and she was scared of the wicked stepmother!! :rotfl2:

well, ill add my opinions too;)
CRT - good character interaction, nice restaurant, food dodgy for the cost. Would do it once, but not twice.
CM - BRILL - have done bfast and dinner, both amazing.
CP - BRILL - food at lunch was amazing, best meal we ate on site.

In 2 weeks we are doing ohanas, LTT, CM, CP, Tusker House as well as 11 others (free ddp:thumbsup2 ) so will be able to add more at a later date.
charater meals are a brill "time out" for us, i would recommend them to anyone.

We always do Crystal Palace;Great Buffett & Pooh fans!
Also liked Garden Grill:Although I think this is finishing?
We like Chef Mickeys too

Liberty Tree Tavern was OK, DH didn't enjoy it as much as the others

Cindrella's Breakfast at the Castle; we wouldn't do again-didn't like food & very pricey-although Im glad we tried once for 'experience' and DD was about 8 so she loved it-atmosphere was great

Cape May Cafe/1900 Park Fare (booked as one but moved to the other last year due to re-furb-can't remember which way round!)-worst meal we've ever had on Disney - probably a mistake on my part too, kids too old to enjoy 'face characters' DS14 really embaressed by kiss from Cinderella (you know what they're like at that age!)

It really depends on age of your kids, preference for characters-Chip & Dale are great & food choices of course!

I have only ever been to 1900 Park Fare and Cinderellas Royal Table and both were great :thumbsup2 I enjoyed CRT the most, atmosphere was magical and the food was lovely

Definatley Chef Mickeys for us with Garden Grill a close second.Have booked
CM twice LTT for dinner,Ohana Breakfast,1900 park Fare for dinner,GG lunch and dinner(although will cancel one if no charecters-anyone know when the characters are finishing:confused)CP for dinner and Confissco grill whic I agree has great charecter interaction-food okish:love:

Thanks for your thoughts we have been to Liberty tree for lunch only and really enjoyed it and wanted to try somewhere different next year.
