We recently took a quick trip to Disneyland and DCA. Since our son is a character fanatic we took him to lots of character meals.

Storytellers Cafe at Grand Californian - had Chip, Dale , Goofy. They do a follow the leader every 45 minutes. Beautiful restauraunt - breakfast only.
Careful - they did not come to our table.Interaction is the entry way. (cm stated they stopped coming to table one week ago.

Minnie and friends at Paradise Pier Hotel = had Minnie, Turk and Goofy. We had only one character interaction in 1 hour (resturaunt not busy) We finnaly saw all three characters after I assured the waiter we were not leaving until we had our character interaction. Took 1 1/2 hours to see the characters. The did a limbo line and conga line alternating every 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. Nice breakfast , though...they also had Japanese fare offered.

Goofys kitchen. We had B/L/D here during our stay. We love this one for the character interaction. Lots of different characters, we found the characters well paced and not grouped.
They do a Macarena thing every 45 minutes with all the characters - Go Goofy!

We did not attend the character meal in the park.

Japanese fare is right! Be careful, the eggs are raw, not hard-boiled.

When we went to breakfast last year at the Paradise Pier 9 (then the Disneyland Pacific), they had a magic show with Merlin, are they no longer doing that?
