Morning All!
Planning for my next trip is underway. This year we had dinner at CRT and really enjoyed it, so we would like a couple of character meals this time. Is it possible to have the character meal at Chef Mickeys even though we are staying off site? Can anyone recommend the best places for character Breakfast and Lunch/Dinner?

P.S I'm pretty new to this can someone tell me how to put a ticker on my posts?

Thanks

We've been to 2 character breakfasts

Donalds Breakfastsaurus in Animal Kingdom. This was good because it was inside a park. We choose a late sitting & did some rides before breakfast & didn't need to stop for lunch. Also you get to meet Mickey Mouse.

1900 Park Fayre which is at the Grand Floridian Hotel which gave us a chance to look around the hotel as we were staying off site. No Mickey Mouse but we saw Alice, Pooh, Eeyore & Mary Poppins with Bert. Better food too.

For dinner we've been to Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom with Pooh & friends. This was a buffett which suits our family & we would eat there again.

We did mainly breakfasts, one dinner.

Breakfast at Donald's Breakfastosaurus was nice because we had an 8am reservation, so went into the park early. It was lovely walking through the empty park and all the CM's on the way in - kiosk vendors, cleaners, greeters, all welcomed us and said Good Morning - we felt like celebs! :goodvibes Food was plentiful, and our server even encouraged us to take some cereal and fruit with us to snack on as DS was too overwhelmed to eat much. Lovely interaction with characters.

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's was lovely. It was nice to look around the hotel, and to ride the monorail through it. Characters were great and the napkin swinging Mickey dance was so cool! :teeth:

Breakfast at Crystal Palace. Again we had an 8 am reservation and walked through an empty park - we had excellent photos of the castle and Partners statues without the usual crowds. Food here also fantastic, and you are perfectly placed to hit the park as soon as you have eaten (if you can still move after the buffet! )

Finally, dinner at Crystal Palace. We all loved this - the food was gorgeous. I was particularly pleased as there were lots of vegetarian choicesand the desserts were outstanding. Again, great character interaction, and the kids parading round the room was lovely.

Sorry to have gone on a bit! Hope you enjoy wherever you decide.

Sara. :)
