We just came back and had breakfast at Ohana. We did early entry on Thurs at MK so we got over 2 hours of uncrowded touring then we had our breakfast at 10:40, which was the last available time slot. The great thing about this was that they stopped seating at 10:40 but the characters were on duty until 11:40. As earlier diners left, we were the few still there eating and we had so many characters to ourselves. They had time to play hula hoops with our kids and teach them little hula dances.
The food was family style- eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, mickey waffles, biscuits, and hawaiian bread, all very good. A highlight of the trip for everyone ages 2-68 and I almost didn't didn't book a character meal at all. We've only done one once before and it wasn't nearly as fun. (Crowded, rushed, low character ratio.) This one was great and I will for sure plan one like this for our next trip....when that will be? I don't know! :o)

Sounds like you had a great experience. We had a similar experience at Donald's Breakfastasourus this year. It is a plan I hope to follow next trip.

We always book late character breakfasts too. Usually this serves as our "lunch" too and then we have an earlier dinner! It always works out great for us. Plus, my littlest DD is a picky eater and doesn't eat much "regular" food, but she loves breakfast food. So this is a way that I can ensure she eats at least one good meal per day.

Your timing is perfect. My husband was just asking this question. We are traveling next with his mother, who thinks 10:00 am is early. We are planning on having her get up for early mornings a few times (I am not waiting until 11:00 to put the kids on Dumbo for her), but on our waterpark day we were thinking about a late breakfast and letting her sleep in - at least a little.

Thanks for posting, I'm glad it worked out so well for you! I'm doing the same thing for the princess breakfasts, hitting EE at the parks and then having brunch and hopefully the princesses all to ourselves!:Pinkbounc

we are doing Goofy's Beach Party at 10:00am & then walking over to WS for the day.....by the time we finish eating, it should count as a lunch & then we will have an early dinner, maybe catching the last seating for lunch, which will be less expensive....in a perfect world, that would all work out.....we can try it, anyway!
