Our trip will include me, DH, DD14 and DD11.

IF the new Toy Story Meal starts and IF the new fairy meal starts, it would mean we would be doing almost all character breakfasts for our table service meals. Now I am beginning to think it won't be worth it for the dining plan (which we already have booked).

Here is what our schedule will look like IF the new character meals are started:

June 25 (MK):
1900 Park Fare Breakfast - Fairies (TS)
Pepper Market (CS)

June 26 (MGM):
H&V Toy Story character breakfast (TS)
Pepper Market (CS)

June 27 (EPCOT):
Nine Dragons lunch (2 TS shared)
Coral Reef Dinner (2 TS shared)

June 28 (AK):
Donalds Breakfastasauras (TS)
Dinner - Pepper Market (CS)

June 29 (Departure):
Pepper Market Breakfast (CS) before heading off to cruise

I am almost tempted to do the Princess breakfast at EPCOT too, but we didn't really like the food there the last time.

If there is no Toy Story Breakfast when we go, we will do Sci Fi lunch (share 2 TS) and Mama Melrose dinner (Share 2 TS). If no Fairy breakfast, we will do Chef Mickey's breakfast.

My girls are old enough they do not NEED the character breakfasts, but the thrill of the new character breakfasts are enough to get us there. Plus, my girls like breakfast food more than dinner food and they will eat more fruit this way since they load up on that at the breakfasts.

So, what do you think? Should I skip the character meals and do Sci Fi and Mama Melrose as planned? Otherwise, we don't really get our money's worth on the plan. Also, I am not set on Donald's breakfast, but there really isn't any other place to eat. We will be picking my mom up from the airport that night to get ready for our cruise, but I don't know what time yet, so I wanted to do the TS for breakfast or lunch. I guess if her plane comes in late enough, we could do the TS for dinner and go to Maya Grill? That will depend on her flight times.

We usually go back to the hotel for an afternoon swim, so we will probably eat in the food court at the hotel before we go back to the parks. We enjoy the variety of the Pepper Market.

I never tire of character meals for some reason. If the kids still have a good time, I'd go for it. In another year or 2, the older one may roll her eyes and cringe at the thought of a character meal, so I'd go for it while they still enjoy them.

We love character meals, but have learned we only will do 1 TS character meal a day on all future trips. We did 2 character breakfasts and 2 character dinners on the same days in August and found it took too much time of our day to sit through the meal and getting all the autographs (about 3 hours each of those days). Doing 1 (either dinner or breakfast) was perfect, especially having breakfast before park opening. We were at WDW 1/12/2006 to 1/17 and stuck to our 1 TS a day rule and it worked out great. We paid the breakfasts out of pocket since they were cheaper than our dinner TS. We are really hoping that the Toy Story and Fairy breakfasts come through for our May trip.
