Character Meal Vouchers: Can they be used elsewhere in the park?

We just booked a trip w/ Costco that comes with a voucher for a Character Breakfast. It doesn't really fit it for us to do a character meal on this trip, anyone have any idea if we can use these elsewhere for sit down dining in the park?

As far as I know they can only be used for the character breakfast.

I know that the vouchers that come with the dinning plan have a value stated on them. They can be used at any restaurant in the parks or hotels. So, it might be possible to use them for a noncharacter meal. Check the fine print when you get them.

When I called and asked questions about the vouchers since they are different than WDW Keys to the Kingdom they told me they are kind of strict as to how you use the vouchers. If it states like breakfast in the park then you can use it towards wherever serves breakfast inside the park (minnie and friends, riverbelle if I am recalling what they told me right. I am in planning stages, so getting my ducks in a row for when I call I can go this this and this. If it says Char Breakfast then more than likely they will only allow it for a char breakfast.
