Hi,

Just looking for the best recommendations please for a character meal for my DD 3rd birthday. CRT would be my first choice but I understand this can be extremely hard to get in, so what would be your next choice?

Many thanks,
Mel:flower3:

Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace or Hollywood & Vine w/Disney Playhouse characters. Either of those places should be great for a 3 year old.

CP, CM, and Play and Dine are fun and interactive. Out of these three I would do CP lunch/dinner, CM breakfast, or either for Play and Dine.

But one of my favorites overall is LTT dinner. Does she have a favorite character?

Thanks for your tips, I think I might go with Chef Mickeys. She likes Minnie and Goofy but she also likes Winnie the Pooh, as well as Playhouse Disney characters so I guess I couldnt go wrong with any of these suggestions. Its just hard to narrow the choice down:)

My wife and I still visit the Cape May Cafe for the character breakfast. The food selection is very good, and the characters (Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale) spend a lot of time at your table. If you go, be sure and have some bread pudding.

I would vote Crystal Palace as well, as long as you don't mind all Pooh characters. I think it's one of the best character dinner spots, atmosphere wise and being in the middle of the MK just seems to add something as well.:wave2:

We love O'hana Best Friends Breakfast at the POLY!
It has Lilo and Stitch. There's a kids parade around the
restaurant with the characters. Plus the food is good and love
O'hanas restaurant because of decor and location to MK.
I'm sure she'll love any Character Meal you decide on.

We went this past April for our son's 5th bday and daughter's 3rd and thoroughly enjoyed a breakfast at Hollywood & Vine Play & Dine. Our kids are big Playhouse Disney kids and loved seeing the Little Einsteins & JoJo. The interaction was fantastic and the food was good too. We told them in advance it was a birthday breakfast (kids are only a couple of weeks apart) and they made a big fuss out of the two of them.

I would recommend CP for breakfast. The food was *so* good. The character interactions were also good. It didn't feel rushed at all and they actually spent some time trying to get DD to smile (she didn't). :)

I was just going to post this. My DGD loved this breakfast and we did as well. It was fun and the food was good, better because it was brought to us :thumbsup2

Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's are all good with CP as my favorite of the three. With a three year old you will probably find yourself around the MK most of the time.

CRT is real possibility if you'r flexible. In 2006 the guide I bought showed a 90day reservation window so I called at 90 days. The window was actually 180 days but we still had a choice of two out of the three days we were there. That was for lunch. This year we changed our plans about 100 days out and there were openings for lunch and dinner though dinner is not a character meal. We opted for lunch again. My daughter was three and four for those meals and loved it.
