Character meal questions

Trying to plan DDs first trip to WDW this coming fall (not our first trip, but she will only be about 13 months old), and have a few specific questions:

Does Chef Mickey's still have those amazing ribs on Sat nite?

How is the character interaction at the Epcot (Norway) Princess
breakfast? Would you do this & Cindy's (CRT) or just one?

She is a Pooh fan. Would they do something special for her 1st birthday at the Crystal Palace like they do at Chef Mickey's?

It looks like the only character meal that has mixed characters is the Grand Floridian. How is that one?

Where will DD eat free? Only character meals?

Will the characters pay any attention to a 1 year old?

It has been quite a while since I've had a child with me that young in a restaraunt-do they serve anything a 1 year old can eat? (I forgot what kids that age eat!)

Will a 1year old even enjoy meeting the characters?

At that age our DD was very hit or miss with characters. Sometimes it was okay, sometimes it was not. They are very good at catching their eye and watching for a reaction before they approach any little ones.

Our DD has eaten free (she is still 2) on all of our trips at any buffet or family style meal. If we ordered a children's meal for her we paid for it at any other sit down place or fast food.

At 1 our DD did not eat very much in the way of table food, and I often just fed her a jar of something or a biter biscuit while we ate. When we had something appropriate we shared from our dishes. Each kids is different about what they will eat and when though, as DD#2 is totally into jar food but still gags on hard food other than biter biscuits.

You might consider getting a box of Cheerios and some crackers or raisins as snacks, they traveled really well at that age.
