Character meal question

So I know a 2 year old eats free at the buffets. What about at Arials? It's not a buffet, do we just get to pick a free meal for her?

The menu says 3-9 is $13.99.

When we went to breakfast at Ariel's, it was served family style. So, they brought large platters and you dish up from that. I don't think every meal is served this way, but that's how a free 2-year-old would eat at that type of meal. I'm curious too about how you order off the menu. We're going with a 2-year-old in September, and I wondered the same thing...

They are just expected to eat off of your plate. If you order a meal for them you will be charged...it is not free. By free they just mean that you can let your child under 3 eat off of your plate. Children 3 and over will be charged for their meal! You wont get extra food but most 2 year olds dont eat too much to make a big difference.

At Ariel's the only meal served family style is the breakfast. Lunch and dinner are served on plates and order from the menu. You do get a 3 tiered tray with veggies, cheeses, salami and a salad that she could eat from, otherwise she would just eat from your plates. Dessert is also a shared plate that they bring for the whole table. I do think that they used to have the toddler meals available at AG but I'm not sure now, I don't remember seeing it on the menus but I wasn't really looking either as my kids are way too old for getting in free. LOL

We were at Ariel's Grotto on 3/24. The waiter said I could pick one of three meals for my two-year-old for no charge. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly which meals--I think the lollipop meatballs and 2 others. But anyways, they do offer toddler meals for free.
