Character Interactions (not character meal)... simply line up or prebook in advance?

Do you have to pre-book character interactions prior (would be 75 days out for me), or just simply line up on designated times shown on the Personal Navigator each day? 🙂

Also, how long is each broadway musical/show every night on average (Disney Magic)? Thanks!

There are two types of M&G. Most you just show up during the 15-minutes window listed in the Navigator.

The second you need to book on the site when your window opens. There is a Frozen M&G and a Princess gathering, where you meet 4 princesses in the lobby atrium. Those might be all booked up when your turn comes but maybe you can get tickets once you board. They hold back some tickets. Go as soon as you can when you get on the ship.

The shows on Magic are 45 minutes long.

For a longer cruise (7 day+) there is also a character breakfast that you can book when your booking window opens. Similarly you can also check on board in case you don't get it in advance.

Also on special cruises (Marvel, Star Wars) there is some pre-booking involved.

But meeting characters generally aside from the above noted exceptions is really easy, just show up.

Ok, thank you for clarifying! :)

Ok, thanks! We’ll be on the Very Merrytime Cruise on the Magic next year, is it likely that Captain Marvel would be walking around the ship after the marvel training academy at the kids’ club? ☺️

We met Captain Marvel on a Mediterranean cruise in June. I’d say it is likely that she would be meeting guests somewhere around the Magic if she is on the ship anyhow to visit the kids’ club.

We also met Captain Marvel on the EBTA cruise on the Magic ... but tbh I think character interaction really just depends on what crew members are on board for that particular cruise.

That’s true... what about Captain America? I’m guessing he’s the main character at the kids’ club (training academy on the magic) compared to the other avengers? 😅

Same thing, we met Captain America on the Magic as well ... I don't know whether he attends the Marvel training academy sessions in kids clubs or not, though. I get the feeling it's never really set in stone.
