I've heard you can just ask anyone at guest services for a schedule of the characters that will be out that day but is there a way to know the day before you go? I've heard there was a character hotline but I'm not sure if that's still available to use.

I think Guest Services on the day of your visit is the best bet. They may not know who's available the day before.
