Character dinning...

My DH and I went to 1900 Park Fare for their character breakfast. We really enjoyed the entire experience. The characters were great and spent a good amount of time at each table during our Sept trip. The food was good and plentiful - of course it is a buffet!! And the setting is really nice.

We met Mary Poppins while we waited to be seated. And then had the chance to meet and have our pictures taken with Alice, the Mad Hatter, Tigger (my favorite) and Pooh.

We went to Chef Mickey's during a previous trip and had a good time, but 1900 Park Fare had more space, and I felt the food was better.

Enjoy!

My ABSOLUTE MUST DO is Cinderella's Royal Table. We are going in 14 days and that is the only demand I had. The food is great, the atmosphere is wonderful and there is nothing like breakfast in the castle to make your day magical. We were there in 03 with our then 6 year old son. He didn't get as much out of the characters but my nieces sure seemed to enjoy them. The Character Bkfst at O'Hana's is also nice, I heard Chip & Dale & Goofy (maybe) are gone but that Lilo & Stitch have replaced them. Good Luck! :wave2:

pirate: We had our character breakfast at the Crystal Palace last week with the Pooh characters. We celebrated my DW's 40th birthday. Each character came by to sign my DS4 autograph book and took a picture with him. The table was decorated for my DW's birthday, and the buffet was really good. My DW, who is a very picky eater, really enjoyed her breakfast. :goodvibes

Which character dinning experience do you recommend?

My husband and I enjoy dinner at Chef Mickey's. We enjoy the prime rib and the mashedpotatoes.

I loved the garden grill because the food was good and the way the place is arranged, it is easy for characters to get to each table and you don't get other tables in teh background of your pics. But breakfast at Ohans was fun too b/c stitch acts up, there is a parade the kids march in with morrocos (sp?), and lilo and stitch might be harder to come accross in the parks. It was nice to have breakfast and then hop the monorail ( we stayed at WL and missed having the monorail this time)

Here's pics from Ohanas

If your kids have a character favorite, I would let that guide your choice too. My ds 6 loves stitch. If only there was a toy story character meal, he would be in heaven!

I really really love the crystal palace breakfast. There is just so much to choose from, and they have these french toast puffs that are amazing  We eat there at least twice each trip.

I like Chef Mickey's for the atmosphere, but due to the food (breakfast, anyway), I only would want to expierience it once. Great for first timer charector dinners.
