When planning for last year's trip, I would swear I read about a restaurant which featured character dining with some villians, possibly the stepmother/sisters from Cinderella, but now I can't seem to find it. Can someone help?

1900 Park fare has the Sisters and Step Mom but no other villians... and they are great!

There are no restaurants with villians except lady tramane in 1900 pf it would be cool if there was one maybe in the future who knows???

The one you are speaking of is at 1900 Fare.

How AWESOME would it be if they had a villains dinner. I want to eat with Gaston! :rotfl:

1900 Park Fare, that's it! I was looking only in the restaurants that are in the Parks. Forgot about the resorts.

Thanks!

I just needed to say I love your icon of the palmetto and crescent :goodvibes I'm from Spartanburg and that's where I'll be coming from when my mom and I go to Disney :yay:

The wicked stepmother and Stepsisters are at 1900 park Fare...There USED TO BE a villains dinner there too.It ended in 2001-2002..It was great though. We went on our honeymoon. We had Queen of hearts, Captain Hook, Jafar, Maleficent and governor Radcliffe

Yes, there was a villains dinner at 1900 Park Fare in 2000-2002, around there, it was discontinued. There was some indication from Disney that it was eliminated because there were complaints from parents whose small children were scared, but who knows if this is what happened or it is just a Disney excuse because they don't want to say they can make more money with princesses.

I think the stepmother and stepsisters are a pretty recent addition - it used to be the mice - and they're supposed to be great fun.

They used to have a villians meal. Wish they still did. Maybe now that getting a ressie with Cindy at her castle isn't so difficult they could add one back in. That would ROCK. I adore Maleficent, Davy Jones? Barbosa? Capt Hook...oh it just makes me shudder

I agree! CM could really ham up those characters! Think of all the apple dishes Snow White's SM could offer? LOL

Just me 2 cents, there used to be a character dinner hosted by the Villians. Never got to go but wish they would bring that back. I know a majority of the character meals are catered to the kids but what about us older "kids?"

My DS and I went to the old villians dinner at 1900 in December of 2001. I remember Captain Hook, Sheriff of Nottingham, Queen of Hearts, Gaston, and there was one more that is escaping me. I remember having a good time, DS slept through it. :rotfl2: By the time we went the following year the villians dinner wasn't offered anymore.

The new dinner with the Stepmother and the Stepsisters is a riot, it's a do not miss for us. :thumbsup2

The characters were great there..interaction was awesome too. Food on other hand was just ok.

I went to the dinner in September 2000. I remember the Queen of Hearts greeted guests in the lobby, and the only characters I remember in the restaurant were Captain Hook and Prince John from Robin Hood. I don't recall seeing any other villains for some reason. Maybe they were on break.

I think Disney is missing out on a huge cash cow by overlooking the villains. WE went to WDW during MNSSHP and the Villains show at the Castle was awesome and the lines waiting to meet them were crazy. A character meal with Villains should be brought back somewhere or maybe during the Halloween party.

I thought I remember hearing a rumor when all the Fantasyland expansion stuff came out that they were planning on a couple of new restaurants and one of them would be a villan character dinner???

If the Villains were that big a cash cow, they'd still have the villains dinner. Princesses surpassed them in the cash cow department. There's a reason why there are three different restaurants with princess meals. for some reason, in the early 2000's princess marketing became the big thing. They were even including characters like Mulan, who were not princesses.

Thanks! I lived in Georgia up until 2 years ago and never understood what the deal was with all the Palmetto stickers. It only took about a year and a good bit of reading about our state's history, and I now get it.
