Character Dining Vouchers or Pay When We Eat?

Is it to my advantage to purchase Character Dining before we leave on the trip? Or should I just make my reservation and pay when I get there?

We have done dining two other times but didn't realize I could pay ahead of time or that prices can vary by season. We will be doing breakfast with Minnie at the Plaza if that makes any difference.

Zero advantage unless you just like to prepay for things or find a deal that may cheaper than the retail counter price.

If you are in the prepay camp, many recommend putting your food budget on a Disney Gift Card so that the value on that card can be used anywhere for anything in the park should plans change.

Last year we got vouchers from getawaytoday.com, saved us about $20 off the counter price. Just depends on whether you can get the vouchers for a discount.
