Character Dining Times OK?

Ok, heading down Monday and I just called and got:

Princess Arial’s Grotto (California): Wednesday Lunch: 12:10pm
Goofy’s Kitchen (Disneyland Hotel): Thursday Dinner: 5:00pm

I'm wondering if I should make Goofy's Kitchen a little later? Anyone experience the characters AT dining times or a little later??

Any help would be appreciated! Also seems that the parks aren't that busy if I'm calling 5 - 6 days out and getting seating for those times I'm so excited!!

I have always found that GK is the best the hour and half before it closes. It usually closes at 9:00. When we have made PS at or around 7:30 by the time 8:15 - 8:30 rolls around most people have left and the interaction with the characters is GREAT!
