Character Dining at Universal?

We will be heading down to Universal this Christmas, we will be staying in our DVC villa though. Does Universal have character dining? If so who is there? Do they do anything special for Christmas? We are going with another family and we want to start talking about our plans for dining and such. We have never taken the kids to Universal and we are beyond excited. Universal is my fav!

During the Christmas season this breakfast becomes breakfast with the Grinch and Thing 1 and 2.

Islands of Adventure has the Grinchmas show several times a day and Whoville characters mill around Seuss Landing. Universal has the Macy's parade with Santa and the lighting of the Christmas tree. Both parks are decorated for Christmas.
