Character Calls

I noticed that when you book a package at DLR you get a free character call. I heard the clip they have online. It was about 10 seconds. Has anybody else used this feature? How long are the real calls? What do they say? Also do I only get one call or can I get a few calls so I can do a trial before hand?

are you talking about the wakeup calls?

No, not the wake up calls. Basically it's a phone call to your home before you leave. Mickey's voice says something a long the lines of "we hear you are coming to disneyland and we are very excited". From what I've read you call ahead to setup the time you want the phone call and then Disney calls you back so your kids can hear mickey (and some other characters). It's included as part of the package when you book with Disney.

I've done it before (only I paid for it). My son got a big kick out of it, and got him even more excited for our upcoming trip. We chose the Mickey call, and yes it was about 10 seconds. It was worth it (especially if it's free!).

after picking mickey as a character you would select good morning as your theme and then from there it shows going on a trip..

yeah, it must be through that link. The clip I heard was under the "in the spotlight" section of the disneyland.com main site. We must get one call per trip.

oh thats so cute...I think that is new....they show a clip of the call so no its not under the site I gave you....I want mickey to call me sheesh!!! i guess you need to ask a WDTC rep on how to go about setting this up for you...let us know what you have to do
