Hi everyone! We will be at the Poly in August for my DS 10th birthday. I would like to make reservations for a character breakfast on that day. How do I go about doing that? Do I call the Poly directly to make the reservation?

Who has done the character breakfasts and how was it??

Just call 1 407- WDW -DINE

There is lots of threads on this already posted on what works, how to go about it etc. The character breakfasts are very, very popular, but you may get lucky with a cancellation (as some have posted about)

DD wanted to do Princess Aurora's at Norway, so we booked as soon as I made reservations to come to Disney. Cinderella's Castle Character meals are HUGELY popular, but then again, you never know till you try - there is also the Chef Mickey's at Contemporary - just call and have them help you through it, and ask them about talking to the Poly when you get there too... it never hurts to ask

Good info here..........

As you are at the Poly, both the Poly's 'Ohana and the Comtemporary's Chef Mickey would be great for your 10 year old. Always great fun.

And make sure wherever you go, including your resort, they know it is his BD. Let them know on your ressies, amd if you make a PS to so note it. Also, stop by City Hall in MK, if you can before his day, and get him a BD pin, he will be the center of attention all day there at WDW.

And welcoem to the DIS.

Our favorite character breakfast is Crystal Palace in MK with pooh and friends! :)

We are trying this for the first time in September. Glad to hear it is a good one!

Another good one is at Cape May at the BC with Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Chip and Dale. Excellent food choices and good character interaction. Minnie stays at the main entrance and you walk up to her.

Our favourite is at 1900 Park Fayre. We know we're back when the distinctive music plays. The food is excellent and it gives you an opportunity to look around the Grand Floridian.
