I have never been to DL in October, very spoiled by December!! Our trip is booked through Costco so we have Character breakfast tickets. We have always done GK for ALL of our dining on previous trips, so I know what to expect there. We are NOT breakfast eaters, so I am trying to fugure out what would be a good brunch/lunch time to make PS on Saturday Oct 17th. Thinking about Minnies for a bunch of reasons, one being it is "in" the park, but GK is also a option. HELP!!!

I think Goofy's is open a bit later than the other character meals (not counting Ariel's Grotto) because it doesn't have to revert back to being a 'regular' restaurant. So during weekends or "busy" seasons, GK is open until around 2:00 p.m., I think (hence, the combo of breakfast and brunch-type food at the buffet), and during the slower periods or weekdays, I think it stays open until noon (though someone said 1:00 p.m.). If you wanted to do Minnie & Friends this time instead of Goofy's, you would have to go a bit earlier and make it more of a late breakfast kind of thing.

i'm relatively sure that Minnie and friends only serves until 11:00. At which point they start serving the regular Plaza Inn fare.

2 random thoughts. One is that DL is VERY easy to get from one park to the other and to the DTD area / hotel areas. NOTHING like WDW (you may already know this). Other idea is to do LATE breakfasts (we did last seating at Minnie's and made it lunch). I prefered Goofy's (we did dinner) then Ariel's and then Minnie's.

We are not breakfast eaters either and have used Minnie's as a brunch a couple of times.. In fact last summer we had a 10:50 reservation. This followed a MM and we were all ready to eat after being in the park for 3+ hours.
