Character breakfast at Poly?

Is it a good one?Thought about doing it late in the morning the day of MVMCP instead of trying to rush through our character dinner before.Would rather grab something lite before the party so I'm not STUFFED!But,my DS really wants to eat with Mickey!!!What other characters are there?

I've not been to it (going in October), but here's what the Birnbaum guidebook says about their character breakfast:

Wins the award for speediest service. .......rarely packed, which makes for faster service.

Characters: Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale.

Theme: tropical hut

Featured items: Mickey waffles, eggs, biscuits, fruit, bacon

For dessert: Sweet pineapple bread

Tip: Don't forget your autograph book and camera. The characters spend a good amount of quality time at each table.

We were at 'Ohana's character breakfast last week - as the book said, it had Chip, Dale, Mickey and Goofy, all appropriately dressed in loud shirts and straw hats etc.

The kids are each given those hand-held wooden shakers (I've forgotten what they're called) and they follow the characters in a parade around the whole restaurant to the Lion King "Just can't wait to be king" song.

The majority of the tables had young kids and the characters visit each table, pose for pictures and sign autographs and joke with the parents, much to the delight of the kids!. Each character visits 2 or 3 times.

We had a table by the window and it overlooked the lush Polynesian grounds and the MK castle. 'Ohana is high up on the second floor of the GCH and when you look out, you feel like you're up in the trees - very nice!

Breakfast will run you 1 to 1-1/2 hours and you won't have to eat again until MUCH later on!
