Is anyone a bit more clued up on the new meal plans etc. than I am? Still debating adding a meal plan. Staying at DLH and want to eat at Inventions, Auberge, Remy and Blue Lagoon. My husband loves having a proper breakfast but wondering whether we would be able to do Plaza Gardens every morning and what the individual pricing of it would be? Does anyone know?

Also, if I get meal plan for DLH, PG is included free isn't it? So wouldn't be extra. Again, would I be able to book for each morning?

Thanks

When I stayed in the Disney Hotels breakfast was included. It was also included at the Kyriad (the good neighbour hotel)

I'm not sure when it's closing but if you're there when Pirates is closed then Blue Lagoon won't be open either.

Booking I'd say will depend on how busy the parks are. We didn't book any meals until we got to Paris last January but the parks were fairly quiet then. If you're going at a busier time you might need to book in advance

As I said on the other thread much as your corrections are appreciated I'm talking about MY past experiences and in MY past experiences breakfast was included!!! Perhaps give advice to the person who started the thread instead... just a thought! ;)

As I said on the other thread I was making sure that the person who asked the question had the correct up to date information

Rosebug - The new rules and arrangements for breakfast are still very much an unknown and may be until they actually change however about the only thing we do know is that breakfast is no longer included

So as I said perhaps you would be better giving your own advice instead of correcting my experiences :rotfl2:

All of those restaurants are included if you buy the Premium Meal Plan which is £62 per person. This includes the Plaza Garden Breakfast, which is £27 per person if booked separately. I think that you book the breakfast on the usual restaurant booking line. I will be booking ours next week sometime so I will let you know.

Sorry, I think you misunderstood my query. Breakfast isn't included, we go October, and I was wondering whether we were able to book the character breakfast for more than one morning if we purchased a meal plan.

We always book our meals, just debating this time the meal plan due to the new breakfast rules. We are going October, so Pirates should be open then for Blue Lagoon.

Thanks

Thank you - would appreciate if you could ask them if you can book more than one morning at PG, would massively help with my planning!

Didn't misunderstand :teeth:

You can book meals as many times as you like with or without meal plans. When we were there with a meal plan all we did was use meal vouchers towards the cost of meals in places that required it. We did have our breakfast included though so that wasn't an issue for us.

There seems to be conflicting stories online as to when pirates is reopening because I read in some places and indeed across threads on this forum that it'll be September/October but I read elsewhere it might not be until December so don't know who is right or wrong there but if Pirates is closed Blue Lagoon will also be closed. :confused3

Disney's official word is "summer" for the POTC reopening. With most places i've seen announcing it as July.

Aye as I said I'm just stating what I've seen across the internet! I don't work for Disney so obviously I don't have facts I can only state what I have read.

You don't need to be so defensive, I was just telling you incase it's something you were interested in knowing :-)
Who is being defensive???? :confused3 Trouble with internet forums is you never know the tone of a persons post :goodvibes

Hi, yes I know we can book restaurants as many times as we want and how to use the meal plan. My query was simply about the actual character breakfast in the park as there was initially doubt as to whether you would be limited to that upgrade once with your hotel breakfast meal vouchers.

Pirates - if it's open, fantastic. If not, no big deal we will eat elsewhere. Totally understand that if Pirates is closed so will BL.

You actually cannot book the Plaza Garden breakfast on the normal reservation number until 2 days before the date. So I had to ring up the booking help line and add as an extra onto my booking, but only had to pay the upgrade cost of £4 per person for DLH guests but it would have been free had we been on Half Board Premium. I could have added it for more than one morning.

But you can use your vouchers and pay the rest? That's what we did in January we ate at Chez Remy, Cafe Mickey, Buffalo Bills and used the vouchers towards the cost and just paid the rest

I think there's SO many unknowns at the moment isn't there! I mean, everything I thought I knew about meal plans, vouchers, adding annual pass people to a booking, breakfasts.... it all changes from March doesn't it! So I'm waiting until after then to even book our next trip - thankfully, we're looking at 2018 so at least we have time to breathe!

Good luck Rosebud - I hope you find out what you need to find out! :)

Hopefully I have answered Rosebuds question regarding the PG breakfast. Though I must say that the lovely lady that I spoke to regarding adding the PG breakfast admitted she was a bit confused about the all the changes that were coming in and I had to wait whilst she checked all the information. I actually seemed to know more them than she did.

I have premium vouchers, the cost isn't the issue. There had been talk about only being able to pre-book the character breakfast for one of your mornings now the breakfasts have changed. That was my query.
