I have reservations at Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Everytime I've gone, I've loved the food and the atmosphere. I've read that Cape May is much better.

However, we will be in Magic Kingdom that day, which is why I booked Chef Mickey's. I am also thinking about changing Coral Reef to something else. Maybe I could book breakfast at Cape May the day we are in Epcot and then take the boat over to Epcot?

What would you eat in Magic Kingdom then? Preferably for dinner -- we are already eating at Crystal Palace for dinner another night. Or somewhere in a resort?

We have always loved Cape May, eating at 8am is the best because it is so quiet. Chef Mickeys had better food but it was really busy in there.

I guess I would go to the place that is easiest for me to get there.

For dinner I would go to The Wave or the Grand Floridian Cafe

I really like Kona at the Polynesian, I've always had good food there. And personally, I wouldn't cancel Coral Reef for Cape May Cafe breakfast, dinner there maybe, but I wasn't that impressed with breakfast there.

Ohana... for a character breakfast, it was excellent. Far better than Chef Mickey's.

Even if they kids don't like Stitch, Lilo was fun and Mickey and Pluto make their rounds too. The food was served family style at the table and they came around with fresh waffles and juice.

For a MK day, this was perfect for us....

I've eaten at both Chef Mickey's and Cape May multiple times and like them both. When we are staying at the Beach Club, we do Cape May, when we are at the Contemporary, Chef Mickey's. Neither one is so much more fantastic than the other that I'd change my morning plans and I'd just go to the one that is more convenient.

By the way, you won't have to take the boat to Epcot from the Beach Club (Cape May) unless you really want to. It is only a 5-10 minute walk and the boat would probably add time.

Another aside...we really enjoyed the 'Ohana breakfast at the Polynesian, which would work for your MK day too.

We are also having troubles figuring out where to eat a TS dinner at the MK...the choices aren't fantastic (IMHO.) We currently have CP booked too, because I don't want to take the time to leave the park for dinner. Eh, maybe we'll just do a CS that evening! :) If you don't mind leaving the park, your possibilities are wide open. On the monorail, you've got:
'Ohana (a favorite of ours)
Kona Cafe
Grand Floridian Cafe
The Wave (another fave)
Chef Mickey's for dinner
and those are just the 1 TS choices.

If you take a boat over to the WL, you can go to Whispering Canyon.

Hope this helps!
