character autographs for scrapbook

I scrap 12 x 12...

Can anyone tell me a good way to get autographs for our scrapbook..

I will probably buy my little girl the blue mickey book so she has one to carry around everywhere but I also want the autographs in her scrapbook....

Any suggestions..

I was thinking of scanning the autograph and then printing it as a photo and matting that on the layout.

I've seen people decorate a small spiral bound scrapbook (cover and all), then disassemble it and use the pages (and cover) in their LOs.

I am going to make little gift tags out of paper, store them in my Creative Memories photo file and then pull them out for each character to sign and then put them in the books when I get home. This way the characters are signing only on one side of the tags and it isn't very big to take with me. I am making my kids the Mickey 7*7 books from Creative Memories.

This is what I've been doing. Of course I wasn't scrapping when DD got her autographs - but it works for me.

I copied my DS from our first trip and shrunk them down to the size I wanted on the page and printed the copy with my computer. A scanner is wonderful to have when doing craft projects.

I usually scrap 12x12 but for our upcoming Disney World trip and cruise I decided to buy a 8X8 3 ring album (I got mine at Archivers) just for autographs. My son loves the scrapbooks but I thought if he had his own 8x8 with just the autographs on one page and then on the opposite side his picture with the character, he would be able to take the book anywhere he wants to go. The nice thing about the 3 ring album vs the post bound (in which I use for the 12x12 LO) is that it is very easy to take the pages out and move them around easier. Just a suggestion.
