I know I'm nit picking here, but while I think it's wonderful that they finally made a menorah, it really isn't truly a Chanukkah menorah. If it was specifically a Chanukkah menorah, then it would have 4 candles on either side of a larger candle to show the 8 nights.

Awesome! I have been waiting for Christmas stuff to come out!
I wish they would haev brought the Christmas trees to go with the presents. Oh but I am sure they will...maybe even a new style next week? Who knows! Now I just am hoping for blinking lights and stockings to do our Christmas rooms! YAY! Can't wait to what new stuff we get?!!

Days is 100% right and it is probablly the 2nd thing I noticed. Any Jewish person would. A menorah has 9 candles. Otherwise it is not a menorah. It is a little surprising that this was missed by the designers.

But, again, thanks vmk for thinking about Hanukkah.

I'd love them to make one that looks like my Disney character menorah.
Goofy is the shamash, and the other Fab Five, plus Donald's nephews
and Morty and Ferdie (Mickey's nephews), plus Daisy round out the
characters for each candle holder.

That's pretty ambitious, but even with the "defective" menorah, I give
them kudos for making some effort.

I'm going to take a stab here and guess that the reason it doesn't have enough candles is the same reason that Mickey has three fingers instead of four. Of course, if the menorah had been made as a separate piece of furniture it would have been much easier for them to have the correct number of candles.

Yes, it's great that Hanukkah is being included in the VMK holidays this year but I think it is very important to get the symbols right. Two candles missing from a menorah could be offensive to some people. I'm glad to see people being so understanding.

It's like they are saying, "Well we didn't do anything for you last year but we did this year. Yeah well, who cares that it isn't correct, we have better things to do."

I'm not Jewish, but this is lacking in correct details and that is one of the things that Disney is known for -- correct detail. I just hope that someone at VMK is working 24 hours to correct it.

I didnt think to count the candles, but I sure wish we could click on it and light on at a time like the scoreboards.... and a true menorah... lit one at a time each night...

I think they could change it, they have changed other things fairly quickly. Remember the funky shirt with the stripe down the middle? Granted that was a bug but it shouldn't be much different for them to change the number of candles. I believe the bigger problem would be fitting nine candles in the image without making it look really crowded. Personally, I would prefer for them to go with the crowded look in order to make the menorah correct. I have very strong beliefs about respecting other religions and using their symbols in the correct way. This is a very bad comparison but to me, not having the right number of candles on the menorah is like leaving off one side of the Christian cross or something. It's just not correct.
