Changing tickets/keeping fastpasses question

Ok. I looked for the answer before posting but I can’t find it. I’m sure it is here. Anyway, we will be making a trip to DW end of July. Right now, we have a package deal with room and tickets for 6 days. I have already made our fastpasses. We are also going to DW next week so while we are there we want to check to see if we can get a bounce back rate and buy our tickets from Undercover Tourist and save a little more. If we can do that, this is what I’m thinking...please tell me if it will work. To preserve our fastpasses that I have already made, I will buy the tickets from UT and link them before we cancel the old reservation. Will that work or will our fastpasses drop out when we drop the old reservation. Also, can I make the bounce back reservation and wait for a couple of days to get rid of the old reservation or do I have to replace the old one with the new one?

I don't know the answer to your FP+ question. Tricky, since FP+ are attached to your ticket purchases.

Although it doesn’t sound as if there’ll be a bounce back offer, if you decide to stay at a DSprings resort you’ll still have EMH and you do preserve your FPs if you do your steps above.

Hmmm... have they pulled the BB offer? We have the booklet that they leave in the rooms from our January trip and it says “Book on or prior to your checkout date (which must be on or before 8/15/18). The available dates that it gives includes when we are going to be there in July/August. I do understand that there is a limited number of rooms. Just wondering if you know something more. We are staying at POP for both trips.



Ok... just figured out that you were probably responding using information from the poster right above you who changed their post. I reread their post and realized that what they must have said was that there wasn’t a bounce back offered for then...then they changed it.

Also, do you know if I can hold both of the reservations for a couple of days to make sure I get the tickets and get them into my MDE. UT is usually very quick but...

Yes. You can have more than one reservation linked to your MDX.
