We are staying at SSR for two nights in a one bedroom & then moving to OKW to a two bedroom for two nights...does anyone have any tips to make this move go smoothly? I have never stayed at either resort. We will have a car so I'm thinking it might be easier to move our own luggage.

Well...we've done it both ways. Since you'll have a car and OKW is right next door to SSR, I'd pack up and take my stuff over to OKW. That way, if your room is ready, you can drop stuff off at your room and do as you please. If not, you can leave it in your car, or give it to bell services, and go to a park.

Though we weren't changing rooms, we got to VWL really early this year. Our room wasn't ready, so we left our luggage with bell services and went to a water park. By the time we got back to the resort, everything was ready, and we called for our luggage and groceries (Garden Grocer). Everything worked out great, and we didn't spend our day trying to check in or waiting on luggage. :thumbsup2

Hope you have a wonderful trip! :flower3:

On our last trip, we moved (twice). It was easiest for us to pack up the van in the morning and then move ourselves. I've read it takes several hours for bell services to move the luggage, and on one of the move days we were coming from Blizzard Beach and needed to be able to get to our stuff to get ready for a dinner ADR. Whichever way you do it, I hope you are smarter than we were and consolidate luggage as much as possible. We had so many small pieces (I admit, most were mine) that that was a big pain.
