Changing resorts question

I had a waitlist expire yesterday since I’m checking into my resort on Monday. I know the chances are slim but if a different resort becomes available for the few nights I’m there can I still modify my resort and move even if checkin is 6 days away? (Yes I understand some points may go into holding and that’s ok.)

Just be sure to modify what you have and not book new.

Also, it usually will error the day before.

Remember if you modify and only a few days are available, you will loose the other days on your current reservation! For example say you have Aug 1-8 booked now at SSR and the 5-8 of Aug open at OKW If you modify the reservation so that you change 5-8 to OKW you will loose the first half of your reservation at SSR. You are telling the system you want to modify your current reservation to be Aug 5-8 at OKW and the system will drop off the first half of your reservation. It wont allow you to book two different resorts on that reservation number. You should call do to this don't do it yourself. But if you are modifying and moving your entire trip to a new resort you can do this yourself online.
