Changing Resorts and Dates?

If I already have reservations and we decide to change our dates and or the resort - is there a penalty? Is this a possibilty?
The rates for Easter are astronomical!! The crowds I can deal with, but $505 a night for Poly lagoon view? WOW!!!!

We have switched our ressies several times. We just changed our next trip from November this year at CBR to May of next year at PO/FQ and we were not charged any penalty. We did have a AAA discount on the November trip that they couldn't change over at the time but when the discounts came out recently for May 2003 we called and had them applied. No Problem.
