Changing Reservations

Today I just happened to notice that our Princess weekend reservation was canceled... Long story short, I called and rebooked at another resort that was not my first or second choice for that...based on availability with military discount. Sooo. When I got home, my husband didn't want to stay at this particular resort so I called to change my resort. The CM told me that I didn't need to give get any more money fir the reservation and I got the same reservation number. But when I linked our reservation in MDE it shows the previous resort. This is getting ridiculous...never had this much trouble. How long does it take MDE to update? Should I call again in the morning to confirm? Ugh! This is really frustrating!

Why was the first reservation canceled? Was it a compute error? You may be able to get they reservation back if you call with the previous booking confirmation numbers and explain the situation.

MDE can take a bit to confirm and readjust. I've seen stuff I've canceled take 24 hours to vanish.
 
MDE has been really glitchy today. I haven't been able to cancel an ADR nor do online check-in.

I would check MDE tomorrow and then call if it isn't showing the correct resort.
 
We called today to cancel a military room reservation & they said their computers were down & to call back later. Also, when I tried to change our FP+ selections, I didn't select the 2 family members who are no longer going. When I went back in to look at the FP+, they were the only 2 on the FP+. It wouldn't let me change it either. Also, before today, all of our tickets & MBs were linked to my moms account. Today, mine is gone from her account & it won't let me link it. It still shows up on my account so hopefully it will be fine. Too many glitches happening! I have an uneasy feeling about our trip next week with all of these issues!
 

Thanks for the reassurance!! Our original reservation was canceled unknown to us because the CM transferred me to runDisney reservations to see about getting a room discount better than military and even though she gave me a reservation number, she didn't complete the reservation.
Anywho...DH after talking with him tonight wanted to stay again at WL...so I guess it did work out a bit. :)

There are limited rooms left with military discount for Princess weekend so I am trying to make sure that we don't lose this reservation either... :)
I hear ya...getting nervous so I check every day...especially now with this happening now...
And to think...I just wanted to utilize FP+ for lunch reservations at BoG... Sigh! Good thing I checked huh?
 
MDE is still down for ADR changes and room reservation check-in. You may have to give them a call.

BOG opened up availability for dinner during the Princess weekend... we were able to get dinner on the 20th.
