Changing money in Frankfurt

Hello! DH and I will be traveling from the US to Frankfurt, renting a car, and then driving to Munich.

Does anyone have suggestions where we can change our US dollars to Euros? I assume the fees at the airport will be higher than other places.

Whatever you do don't change your currency at the airport, the rates are horrendous!
Maybe pre purchasing online to collect at the airport is an option? This will give you a favourable rate.

Any bank should have the ability to change money. I however would not recommend it. It is much easier to just get the money out of the ATM and the exchange rates for doing this are usually more favourable than the currency exchange rates.
