Last visit my wife set up her finger with the wrong hand (awkwardly crossing hands each entry). We are heading back down to WDW next week. Is it possible to go to the Guest Relations in Disney Springs and have them reset it to another finger/hand ?

If she has a new ticket linked to her MDE Profile, just enter the park and have her use her finger with the correct hand. ;)

The biometric is directly linked to each ‘new’ ticket not to the Profile line.

Sorry, I should have mentioned. We have Annual Passes on our existing bands.

They easily reset my DD’s 3 times last week. They actually ended up switching it to DH’s fingerprint after the 3rd day of issues. Apparently little ones have big issues with the finger touchpoints. Just have her use the wrong one at the entrance and after it goes to blue twice they’ll call a CM over who has a tablet and can reset it. Takes less than a minute for the whole thing!

Thanks all. I still wondered if we can do it a the Guest Services in Disney Springs because we will be there our first day before going to parks.

You’d have to switch out the biometric scans at a location where there are biometric scanners... the park entrances. It only takes a minute or less. Only the people behind you will be upset. ;)

so if you don't remember which finger you used on your previous trip with a MB and you use a different finger with the new MB on current trip would all the past MBs then use the "new" finger or would you have to use what ever finger you used prior? Am i explaining this right?? I was going to bring my old mbs this trip (you have to match your outfit with your mb LOL) but if i have to use different fingers for each band then forget it, I'll get all confused! The reason is now with the new style MB i'm going to use my right hand for the MB (non watch hand) because the new MB are bigger and not comfortable with the watch and MB on one wrist.

The biometric finger scan is linked to the ‘new Ticket’ info.

It won’t matter which MagicBand you use. The MB provides the link to your MDE account and from there the biometric of your finger is linked to the ticket data.

Use whichever finger you want if you have a new ticket for your upcoming trip.
