changing email on old name--don't have password

When I first joined DIS, I registered as BedKnobbery. I was away from the boards for several months, and when I returned I could not recall the password I'd used for that user name. I attempted to use the 'email password to you' function several times, but to no avail. I am 99.9% certain I used the same email for that user name as I used when I re-registered as BedKnobbery2. Now that I've been back on the DIS, I've established my username as BK2 instead of the original. And I'd prefer to use the email address I have listed under this username.

So, my dilemma is that because I have the same email under both usernames, I assume I'll get locked out. Can I get my old name (BedKnobbery) deleted, or somehow get the password for it so I can change it myself? I'd really prefer to not have to change the email address for this username (but of course I will if I have to!)

I just checked, and the old one (BedKnobbery) has a space in the e-mail name. You should be just fine the way you are now.

By the way, your clipart is too big.

I have the same problem as bedknobbery. I orginially registered under Bonnietalk but forgot the password. I am now BonnieA and would like to keep my one and only email address with that name. Can you delete Bonnietalk?

In your case, no. You will have to change one of the account addresses to make them both unique. You can have the system e-mail you the password to that account to get into it.
