Changing dates with promotional rate

Hi everyone.
I am in doubts. I do not know how to handle it. I want to use GC promotion for July but I am not sure if we will go this year at all and if we go what dates. I never changed trip so my question is, if I use promotion now and if closer to my date I will need to change dates, will I loose discount? I know if I deside to cancel 45 days before, no penalty and closer there are some penalty but changing dates confuses me.
Please help.

I think you can change the dates, so long as the promotion is not over. I think the gift card promotion is going to end in the next few days though, so yo may not have much time. I woudl suggest checking the possibilites with Disney itself.

The other variable is that rooms have to be available for that date with that promotion.

If you need to change your dates, going a different date may well cost more money. Odds are fairly good though that Disney will come out with some other promotion for July. It probably won't be as good an offer, but odds are pretty good if they still have rooms to fill they will offer some discount.
