Changing dates during expired free dining promo

I am booked for 9/29-10/4, free dining. The promo is now expired, but I want to add an extra day to our trip. Will I be able to get the free dining for that extra day even though the promo booking time is over?

From what I have read if you have the free dining the first day of your stay you have it for the entire stay. I would call and ask, but I think it should be no problem.
