Changing Airtran flight home through WDW Travel?

I am trying to add 3 days to our trip. We booked airfare through WDW travel on Air Tran. I know that there will be a change fee. I do not want to change the day I arrive, only the day we leave. The way I figure it, it should cost me the difference in airfare plus $50 change fee. The CM I talked to said they would have to cancel the whole airfare and charge me the difference on both flights plus $100 change fee. Is there some reason I can not just change the day we leave the World? I suggested just adding the 3 days to my package and I would get a one-way ticket on another airline and just eat the airfare and he said he could not because our flight had to match our depature date. I just want to give Disney more of my money. Anyone have any expierence with this. Thanks

I am assuming you have your Airtran tix - so why not deal with AirTran directly? Then adjust your vacation itinerary with WDW after you have made the changes with Airtran.

I have always had very nice customer service when dealing with Airtran - I know the deals with disney are special so there maybe some reason they are not individually adjustable, but ... I find if your really nice (kisselbow) and patient, some rules tend to be bendable.
