Changes to my Flyglobespan flight...

Hey folks

Just got an e-mail this morning saying my flights in Dec from Glasgow will now go and come back via Belfast......just a heads up for any others who may have booked in that way. It adds on a wee bit of time going but all being well won't affect it too much.

The only downside is they won't let me off the plane in Belfast to enjoy a traditional Ulster Fry!

Is that a Tuesday flight? I have heard that all the Tuesday flights from October onwards will now go via Belfast. There have also been some cancellations in September so people with bookings should reconfirm their flights either online or with the call centre.

Thanks for that info, I was thinking of vooking with them for Dec after lots of good comments but don't want to go via Belfast, the journey home is long enough with that.

To be honest I'm not that bothered - I looked at other options for going and all other flights go via Paris, Amsterdam this end and somewhere like Chicago or Atlanta at the other end - at least Belfast is kinda on the way! Coming back doesn't bother me so much as I'll be sad anyway - it's just on the way there...I wanna get to Disney and start the fun!

I'm really not very happy about this our flight isnt until May and I'm considering trying to change days. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but this makes the flight time over 11 hrs??

I know the small print says they can change flights add stops or whatever but why did they have to pick a Tuesday to do it!

Still a lot quicker than going via Gatwick/Iceland/Amsterdam/New York etc which was always our only option until now.

Mind you if I'd booked a direct flight and it was changed I'd probably be a bit annoyed.
