Changes to food?

We are eating at San Angel Inn for the first time. My DH does not like onions and peppers. Can he request stuff he does not like to be left out of the dish? Most places do but wanted to know if anyone has ever asked them to leave something off.

We didn't ask to have anything left out, but I thought my food was fairly bland. Not bad, just not a lot there. I ordered the burrito off the kids menu which they made a little bigger and charged a little more for. I think he definately find some foods without the foods he doesn't like.
