With the recent changes to the DVC and Disney.com websites, you can no longer purchase an AP from the DVC member site. It will give you info to call Member Services.

However if you have linked your DVC member account with the new My Disney Experience website, you can purchase the DVC priced Annual Pass from there.

You go to Park Tickets, and then Annual Passes and if you are logged in and have your accounts linked it will offer you the DVC member price ticket and the option to buy online. :thumbsup2

Here in Canada we don't even get the new disneyworld website with the My Disney Experience tab :)

I am afraid to go anywhere near My Disney Experience (or any of the official websites that require a log-in). So far, I have not had a problem getting into the DVC Members' Website and I want that to continue. All those who are having trouble seem to be using one of the other Disney sites. I am not linking anything or logging into any other Disney site until Disney gets all this stuff fixed.

But thanks for sharing the info. I am glad that I don't need to buy an AP anytime soon and that my next trip isn't until November.

How do you link your DVC membership to your MyDisneyExperience profile? I've got the same login for everything. Is that all it takes?

Right before I lost my ability to log in anywhere, I was on the 'my Disney experience' site. There was a pop up asking me to link and I closed it out as I was already using the same log in and password to access the DVC and regular Disney site.

And I could really care less about whether my reservations appear in two or three locations...

Some were showing on my disney experience, but not all.

So, I am tired of waiting to get back on and I just called MS Tech who told me I was one of a 'small number of people having problems accessing my account'. And - she said to check back once a day to see if it is fixed!!!

I am very happy to have the website. love it. so much better then calling MS and reciting my vital details all the time. But - I want to play with my points!!!!

I am a new DVC member, and we are headed "home" in July. I've never purchased an annual pass before, but we will be utilizing the DVC discount this time around. Given the speculation that ticket prices will increase soon, I'd like to purchase my annual passes, in case those prices increase, too. If I purchase from My Disney Experience, am I issued a voucher or an active pass?

I keep getting the link accounts page and hit cancel and log in. It has been working this way every time i dont want to mess with anything either. As long as I can log in every day it is fine. I have been checking on a one day wait list several times a day for VGC and it finally came through. Sometimes I would get a message that said too many redirects, but would work a few minutes later. Hope everything gets fixed soon. I was able to purchase my APs in December before the website issues.

If they are actually linked, when you go to your Profile Page on My Disney Experience, it will list DVC as an affiliation.

And yes the login for both will have to be the same.

You will more than likely just get a will call number that you will take to guest services to claim your actual pass.

Some have received vouchers also

Just checked and it does list me as DVC (and AP). Now I wonder about DCL's Castaway Club.

Is it more cost effective to buy a discounted park hopper and upgrade once there, instead of buying the annual pass in advance?

Mine are linked and my logins are different.
