Changes in Latitude, Changes in Attitude-April 11-19, 2014-Day 9-Part 3 (updtd 6/29)

Well the one we were pricing the other night was a 7 day on the Magic going to Jamaica. Cruise price was $6,000+, but the down payment when I clicked to book it was $1,200+, so 20%?? Then you just make payments on it online. I would just throw $100 or $200 at it every month and then right before the pay off date, DH got a bonus which worked out perfectly. I would like to do a double dip again. I can never get enough of Castaway Cay.

Oh okay, maybe it won't be as bad as I thought.. I might have other questions, just dont want to take over your TR- I will send you a message when I have more ?'s... :) THANKS!

Score on the Legos!!!!!

I thin OKW is so pretty, but it really is too big. If you don't have a car I can imagine it would be a pain to get around. just our 1 night there we found that trying to get around without driving was very time consuming.

Sure girl!! Just let me know. Hey are you on Facebook? https://www.facebook.com/susan.s.crane.94

Score on the Legos!!!!!

I love them. Have you seen the Disney Princess ones?? So cool. Haven't bought any of those yet.

I really do agree with you about that one. It was nice an d very convenient to have the car for sure. Having the car makes all of the difference.

Just a little side story that I would like to share.

Several of you know this already, but - I sew - mostly quilts. Aside from Disney, it is my biggest obsession. I have even made a bunch of cool Disney things.

Here is my Facebook page if you want to see.

Anyway, back to my story.

So a week or so ago, I professed my love for old things on Facebook. I saw these a day or two ago and I just had to have them. 8 drawers from 1928 Singer Sewing Machine Cabinets and one from an 1894 cabinet. Right now to me they are coolest things ever.

The sewing machine drawers were really dirty and after washing them twice, I was still wiping dirt from them.

Once I got them clean and polished, I filled them up with a small portion of my substantial fabric stash. They don't look super authentic stacked on top of my plastic bins. But it is a start.

Got your friend request. Looks like we have a couple in common. Jill and Sarah - I used to skate with them back in the day. I wonder if you know my stepdaughter ...... she went to school with those girls.

I saw that!! They were actually in some of my classes at Midlands Tech back in 2003! :)

Small world. My DH's older son's wife is having a baby and we just bought a glider from Sarah. She lives right down the street from us.

So glad I came across your trip report. I recently enjoyed reading along with a cruise trip report you had written. I'm looking forward to the rest of this one!

Day 3 – Part Three

When I last left off, we were on our way out to Hollywood Studios after getting settled at Old Key West.

We had Fast passes courtesy of FP+, so we headed over to Toy Story Mania to do that.

After that, DS went to go ride Aerosmith in the single rider line

while DD and DH rode Star Tours.

That ride makes me sick, so I meandered around and looked in the gift shops.

As you can see the park wasn’t very crowded on this day. We only really needed the FP for Toy Story. DH and D rode Star tours 3 times inside 30 minutes.

We met DS over at the Villians shop and DD traded vinylmations.

And we purchased her a “Glow with the Show” set of ears.

DD had been snacking all and wasn’t hungry. Same with DS. So SH and I decided we would eat at the ABC Commissary

This place was deserted.

DH and I shared a

1/3 lb Angus Cheeseburger and Fried Shrimp - with choice of apple slices or fries $10.99

We got some chocolate mousse for desert.

This food was OK and it filled you up. The chocolate mousse was good. Since it was pretty much empty, we enjoyed a quiet and peaceful dinner.

After that, we were going to ride the Great Movie Ride, but for some reason it was down, so we looked in the shops on the way out and got some Magic Band accessories.

Magic Band Covers. My magic band makes my wrist itch, so I wanted to get something to go over it.

This made my wrist stop itching, so I was happy with it and I liked the balloons on it.

DD jumped on the bandwagon and we got these for her.

DS wore the Haunted Mansion one while DD wore the Small World one.

The other photo are these things called sliders. I liked these better than the things that pop into the holes of your magic band. They stayed on better, I think.

After that, we headed back to OKW. I need to ice the ankle and DD wanted to swim, so DH took her to the pool.

Next up – EPCOT.

So, I have missed not one post but TWO! Thankfully, I was slow at work, so I could read them both and snack on some beef jerky (doesn't that sound like fun? :thumbsup2 )...

Your room at OKW looks awesome! Seriously, I am telling my husband we are staying at that DVC first. It looks so comfy and the colors make everything look so relaxing. :goodvibes

I just got excited a little over the MagicBands, I'm not going to lie...If you can dress them up, I am there ;) Was that a Polynesian cover in the package as well?

Sewing room drawers....I saw your post on FB the other night. Aren't they wonderful? I have my grandmother's Singer from 1912. Drawers still in tact filled to the brim with sewing supplies from the 1940s through 1988. :lovestruc

I cannot wait to try HP ride.
MMM, Butter Beer.
Love that little train ride.
We just tried Bonefish Grill for the first time last week, YUM!. Never had Chick Fil A and never will.
Cute Dino she got.
MMM, I want the meatloaf now.
The room looks so nice. We had bad batteries to and we called and they replaced them for us. I like the patio there.
Cute items for the magic bands.
All caught up again.

Looked like a nice day at HS .

Love the magic band covers this is my only concern with them, I'm not keen on wearing anything on my wrist to begin and worry they may irritate me, was there a lot of choice in terms of covers for them?
