Changes in Latitude, Changes in Attitude-April 11-19, 2014-Day 9-Part 3 (updtd 6/29)

Is that where you are staying? that resort is amazing!!
::yes::

This is where we found out the credits we used for breakfast that morning did in fact NOT get used and we had extra. 6 left to be exact. We used four for this meal and it was a TON of food.
Thank you, clueless CM! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

This is the reason I stayed on even land. DD wanted to walk on the barrel bridge.
Yeah... that would not be a good idea for you. :rotfl2:

::yes::

Have you ever stayed there? I LOVE the Cars section. Sooo adorable!!

Thank you, clueless CM! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

For realz. I didn't even feel bad about it. At all.

Yeah... that would not be a good idea for you. :rotfl2:

Truth. Me and gravity are not good friends.

Day 9 – Part 3

Checking back in for my last post. After DD and DH explored Tom Sawyer Island, we used our last FP’s on DD’s favorite ride, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

After that, we headed towards the front of the park. DD, DH and DS caught the train. Since I had the scooter, I just made my own way up front to meet them.

We looked in the gift shop one last time and I got some pajama pants.

And DD got a snack.

We hopped the bus back to Old Key West, got some sandwiches for the road from Good’s to Go with the last of our QS credits and turned in the scooter.

We packed back into the car and with another successful trip under out belt, we sadly made our way home ….

I can't remember the last time I ate at Tomorrowland Terrace. I think that was the place I used to get chicken parmesan sandwiches about twenty years ago. Your lunches looked tasty and yay for extra dining credits!

Great report as usual, Susan! I love how quickly you get yours done!

We really liked the variety at the food court at AoA. I really enjoyed the fact that there was a departure from the normal fare found at other locations.

That trip journal is really nice! I love finding stuff like that. I don't actually hand write them anymore though, because I talk way too much and it takes too long. I always type now. :rotfl2:

We really enjoyed Enchanted Tales with Belle! I'm so glad that they do it in small groups, giving more chances for the kids to be picked.

Man, I haven't been over to Tom Sawyer Island in years!

Awww, it's always so sad to leave. However, it's always easier knowing that you're coming back. :goodvibes

No, this will be a first. Never even set foot in the resort. I think the Cars area looks awesome, and that's where we really wanted to stay. However, we just felt like we'd be too crowded in one suite, so we booked a couple of rooms in the Little Mermaid area. Either way, it will be awesome to experience it.

I can't think of a more fitting way to end a trip than a ride on BTMRR. It is one of my all time favorites as well.

And the last ride on the train, after the last ride on BTMRR, for your DS was just what he needed, I'm sure. :rotfl2::thumbsup2

We stayed at AOA in 2012 and really enjoyed it.. Only reason we haven't again is the lack of discounts :( but they do have a nice variety at the food court..

When is your next trip planned? Ours will be next February.. 8 long months but I know it will roll around before we know it

This is a cool picture. Neat perspective!

I think its great that you went to eat at AoA. I have had the make your own pasta at POR and I loved it.

Boo for your last day.

I am surprised the CM did not know the breakfast QS rules. :confused3

Love the pictures from Belle.

I forgot to mention that the journal is adorable.

I agree with Danielle - leaving is always hard but its so special to know that you are coming back. Takes the pain out of leaving.

After a long DIS hiatus (my work has been way to busy for any fun internet stuff) I am back and your TR's were one of the first things I went to look for. I love how you write, can't wait to catch up!

I'm 2 behind so I predict my productivity for today is already shot all to pieces.

Read the whole TR in one night! Looks like you had a blast!

From one Parrothead to another!

He loves the train.

They do. But it is tough if you have people that want something from every different station.

We go back in September. Food and Wine!! Can't wait!!

This is a cool picture. Neat perspective!

Boo for your last day.

I know it. It's awful.

She was clueless and rude. And I didn't feel a bit bad that our credits didn't get used.

Love the pictures from Belle.

Have yo been to see it? So precious.

I forgot to mention that the journal is adorable.

I love a cute trip journal. Makes writing down things more fun.

I have done that before. Glad you liked it!! thanks so much for reading!!

We really liked the variety at the food court at AoA. I really enjoyed the fact that there was a departure from the normal fare found at other locations.

They do have a great variety. And different things as well. We liked it.

That trip journal is really nice! I love finding stuff like that. I don't actually hand write them anymore though, because I talk way too much and it takes too long. I always type now. :rotfl2:

I can type faster as well, but I love the pretty journals and they are fun to write in.

We really enjoyed Enchanted Tales with Belle! I'm so glad that they do it in small groups, giving more chances for the kids to be picked.

It is super cute!!

Man, I haven't been over to Tom Sawyer Island in years!

Me either. I need to get over there!!

Wow, I am planning our next trip for April 2015! I decided to search for a TR around the same time which included kids around the same age as mine.. I found your TR. I read the whole thing... It was great! You gave me a few new ideas to try & the report was entertaining ~ thanks for sharing :)

Thanks for reading. I am glad you enjoyed it. Most of our best touring strategies came from me reading trip reports. So much great info in the stories.

NO!!!! It can't be over already!
I haven't even started mine yet. :lmao:

It sounds like it was a great trip though. And I am so glad you are going back again this year!

I'm new to the boards and I just wanted to say that I loved your trip report! :)

Can't wait to go back. Food and Wine this time!!

That is great she loved EE.
Yak & Yeti is good food. I love the kobe burger and fried wontons.
Love Landscapes of Flavor but I cannot eat my favorite anymore, Surf & Surf Burger.
I have yet to go see Belle. One day.
Peoplemover is so fun and relaxing.
I have not been to Tom Sawyers Island in a while, I think. LOL
Sounds like a great trip. Thanks for sharing.
