Changed my 12/26/10-1/2 BWV room for a AKV room today. Probably made someone's day!

We love our BWV home but wanted to try one of the other resorts. Since my DH is a teacher and our sons in college, peak holiday times work best.

Tried (waitlisted) for VWL for two years.... This morning I called (7 month window today) and was able to book AKV 1 BR with a Savanah view.

We are excited to try a new resort and the member services cast member said I probably made someone's day!

Still waitlisted for VWL - perhaps the third time will be the charm, if not hoping for a great stay at AKV.

I agree that you made someone's day, but a 1 bedroom savannah view is also very special!

Yes we are thrilled with our Savannah view. We will be at Jambo House (which I'm learning is AKL). We haven't ever been to AKL either so we are pretty happy campers

I was succssful in changing to AKLV savannah view in Jambo house yesterday also. Had OKW reservation for 12/26-12/30/2010 and this was the first time being able to change at 7 months for that xmas week(tried the last 3 years). I'm excited also! Love OKW and would have been happy to stay there again, but DH love AKL and the animals so its my surprise for him...

We will be there the same time. I originally had an AKV Stuido 12/23 - 1/2, and wanted to modify it by coming in and leaving earlier, but I couldn't get consecutive days anywhere 12/18 - 12/29 so I added OKW 12/18 - 12/23, then modified my original AKV resi to 12/23 - 12/29.

Our last trip was to AKV and we loved it. I can't wait to see what it looks like during the holiday. We have been to WDW many times during the holiday season, but never for Christmas day. Can't wait.
