Changed e-mail address, never got confirmation, now can't post

In the middle of posting back and forth on a thread, I changed from my old e-mail address to my new one so I could get notifications. However, I have tried 4 or 5 different addresses, and have not received a single message to confirm. That has now left me unable to post anywhere but here in the Welcome board.

Is there something going on? I saw people aren't getting notifications either, and I know I have no spam blocker.

I can't see how changing your email address would cause the problem--I have had to change mine several times. Have you tried going back to the original email address?

The webmasters usually recommend that you clear your cookies and make sure you are set to stay logged in here.


I do know that since the server switch last night people are not getting email notification of threads that they are subscribed too, but that is a seperate issue. Based on the words under your name, something is currently wrong with your registration. Are you sure that you never received any email from the DISboards? Perhaps they have sent one to the original account to confirm the change of email address?

Can't. Old address no longer exists. When I changed, it said it was going to send a message and that I needed to confirm the correct address. Messages never came. I'm sure it's related to the reply notification issue. Both functions boil down to the site being able to send out e-mail messages to users.

Whoops. That one's my fault. Forgot to log back in from troubleshooting before. Everything I said still stands though.

I don't have spam blocking or a spam folder. The problem is not on my end. The site just plain isn't sending out any messages. That is the problem. Same reason people aren't getting reply notifications. My issue it that since I can't reply to a message that was not sent, I've been locked out of posting in the other forums.

Okay I know the techs and WM are trying to iron out a few things tonight
with the new servers but we have put you on the list of things to look into.........

I just signed up too, and haven't gotten a confirmation email. When I registered it said one was sent, but there isn't one in my inbox, trash or spam.

I haven't received a registration email either! Hopefully we'll get one soon. I would love to post on some of the other topics!
