Cheaters never prosper. Any players using aides – such as software programs that hack, log into or play VMK for you, answer guides or any other assistants – to complete this Quest will be disqualified from the Quest and as a violation of VMK Values, permanently banned from VMK.

I hope it doesnt mean that everyone is going to be banned for help (like spoilers ) ?

That's odd. But also, what the heck did they think was going to happen? Everybody getting a fair chance? ('cause with my computer and the lag and crashing I'm getting that was blown out of the water a long time ago)

It is basically saying do not cheat.
I will tell you that assisting someone is not cheating, but doing it for them would be considered that.
You can not use hacks to help you increase or change things to up your chances in the game (not sure how this could be done anyways).
You can not have someone log onto your account and do the Quest for you, because you "cant do it yourself".
Answer Guides which contain the answers to a Quest are not allowed (Dis may want to dispose of theirs).

These things would be considered cheating and could result in a ban according to VMK. I asked VMK Staff if gettting help in game along the Quest is allowed or not and their response was:
"You can help anyone you want to help"

Basically you can HELP, but not do it for other players

Honestly, answer guides? How can they possibly expect to know who used a guide and who didn't? I mean, really. Maybe there's someone out there who's got some sort of autoclicking tool that they're using, and VMK wants them to know they're on to it, but if they really mean you can't use answer guides, that's simply unenforceable. What are they going to do? Check the 'who's reading this thread' feature on all the spoiler threads?

Since I don't think they have the power to read any of our messages on a private message board not affiliated with disney, I doubt they could do anything to any of us here if we shared the tips on our messages.
And, WHO has had time to even go out there and come up with cheating programs?

I don't mean to be a stickler - but VMK created a quest that you can only win by cheating.

Playing a game and winning because everyone on your team agrees you will win by sinking them is "cheating" and no more different than stacking the deck or counting cards etc.

The only way through that task is to cheat... I personally prefer to call it team work - or friendship - but... it is what it is...

It is actually cheating in the pirates game. If they didn't expect people to cheat, then they never expected anyone to actually finish the quest.

And now they expect people to finish this quest without any sort of guide?

Didn't they aleady make it so hard that most will never finish it?

I also like to call it friendship as well.....with a touch of frustration thrown in!

Exactly, very hypocritical if you ask me.

I've seen others post cash rewards for items or playing.

Also, it seems weird that some have played the quest so quickly, without help. That always looked weird to me.

I noticed this morning that there are three people who completed the quest in 1 hour 7 minutes, 1 hour 9 minutes, and 1 hour 29 minutes.

Seems a bit unlikely to me.

Yes I saw last night 1 hour and 9 minutes and even if you play it properly with
the lines in to pirates really impossible to get this score. Jungle cruise alone takes 15 to 20 minutes. Ghosts 12 minutes just for a game not taking into consideration needing 2 -4 needed to get 75 ghosts and three round.

Do not know how they did this but no way this was done even with spoilers just to long a quest. Also if they did they left the teamates behind who helped them and that is another type of cheating.

So I guess someone learned to hack the game only reason possible.

Unless anyone can come up with a better time line.

And having parents who normally do quest for there kids is that cheating. Or a player who before asked a friend to do this quest for them is that cheating.

Pirates is bad enough and jungle cruise is not much better the rest of quest can be done without spoilers just read the Blackheart's Stories

lol @ foot. I agree. VMK is being ridiculous here.

I bet Aengus and Dis have deleted more "I quit VMK" threads this weekend than any other time before.

I think it's very surprising that they didn't specifically mention muling. Answer guides are off limits, but running through the quest a few dozen times? Go for it. Very strange, especially since they've talked about overdoing the muling before.

I guess if one is extremely selfish they could do it more than once. My mules are only for the benefit of other like playing pirates on two different machines for two different teams. Working on my siczo modes.

And whe I do use my mules it is for really good prizes that I give away.

This is Yavn going overboard again. Answer Guides, come off it, you can find the answer guides all over the web. Threatening players will not stop it. What now, they going to check VMK names agains Dis and other boards and ban everyone?

See, people, the reson I never post my name on the board is because of VMK and their "going overboard" - and yes, they HAVE banned people for things that were said on here. Not to mention that more than one host has confronted a player because of what was said on here, and other boards.

I am not done with VMK, but this just validates my overzealous desire to hide my name when on this board.
