Change Park Passes Mid-Trip?

Has anyone who's been there changed their park passes mid-trip? Were you able to get the park you wanted to change to?

We're going 11/13 to 11/20 (late arrival/early departure so 6 full days on site) and planning on getting 5 days of tickets so we have a rest day. When we went in July for opening week, we only had 4 days of tickets, but knew we wanted a day in each park.

Right now we're planning on 2 days at MK and HS and one day at AK. Skipping EPCOT this trip, as we did food and wine in July (in normal times, EPCOT for us is really a dinner park). Now that we know what to expect, I can envision us potentially wanting to change up parks "on the fly" depending on what we get done. For example, we did everything we wanted including ROR at HS on the first planned day, so want to switch out the 2nd HS day for a second day at AK.

We are staying on-site, so wouldn't have the same park limitations as an AP.

Thanks for posting this.We are going around the same time as you, 14th to the 20th lol. We have 4 day tickets but planned on making it 5. I already have the 4 days reserved, but wanted to wait to see which park we may want to go to our last day. I’m thinking HS will be the most popular and the one that may not be available.

That's what I was thinking. That's why I'm wondering how easy it is to get the other parks "on the fly". Book Hollywood Studios now, then change it later?

Also taking into consideration, changes would be during the week rather than a weekend which would likely be more busy...

You can change, you just have to cancel the original one first. I’ve changed park passes the day of, just before I scanned into a park.

I also changed morning of during our trip last week. First I checked for availability and then canceled. Was very easy (We had moved our Epcot day last week).
I wish they'd add a "modify" option!
