We are down to one elderly Maine Coon cat named Moxie. She is at least 19 and sleeps most of the day in various fave spots around the house. We've had as many as 3 cats at a time but Moxie is our current furbaby. I was raised around dogs but haven't had any for more than 40 years.

Is Belle a good traveler?

Ooooooh...I love the looks of a Maine Coon Cat! Love to Moxie!. Belle is very very gentle, she is a good traveler, she sleeps. More than anything, she wants to be with us, and our feelings are the same. Even DH accepts Belle's accidents...she had it rough before she was rescued. She is 10 now.

That's great that she does well on your long car rides! I remember reading about her back when she was sick. I'm sure your love helped her so much. You know that a pet is special when they win over the reluctant spouse (Moxie did the same with DH). She has a severe heart problem and has outlived all the vets estimates.

Belle's birthday is the Feast of St. Francis....I am sure he brought us together. BELLE WALKS SLOWLY, follows me like Mary's little lamb.i had hoped to have 1 more black lab in my life, and I do!

I love when pets walk behind and follow quietly! Moxie will do it sometimes if you invite her to come with you. And I like labs; such pretty dogs!
