change of plans need help with room sizes

Hello everyone! We actually just got back from the 4 night Dream/3 nights at BWV, and I will post a TR over the weekend.

I'm busy planning my November trip with some girlfriends and I ran into a dilema!
I had originally booked a 2 bedroom standard view at the BW, for Thursday, Nov 10 til Sunday, Nov 13th. We waited and waited for flights to come out so we could grab them at once and hoped they'd be low. Well the Sunday flight coming home was well over $300!!! alone! So, we decided to travel Friday the 11th and come home on Monday the 14th, flights were way cheaper.

I called MS yesterday to see if they could cancel my 2 bedroom for the night of the 10th and add on the night of the 13th. There was NOTHING anywhere for the 11th, 12th, 13th! Hard to believe!!! So I was thinking we'd have to wait and see if flights came down at all. Then I decided to try MS again this morning. Nothing at BW, nothing at Kidani (my two home resorts), but I was able to secure a 2 bedroom standard view at Jambo house for the nights I need, and then we were able to book flights at less than $300 ROUND TRIP!!!

Anyway, my question/issue is that I'm not really keen on a 2 bedroom at Jambo because they are smaller. Is this correct? Can anyone tell me what the two bedroom is like there? Is it roomy enough for 5/6 women? I know they are lock offs, don't have dedicated, but neither does BWV.
Are the two bedrooms at Jambo smaller than at BWV? I did waitlist for both BWV and AKV Kidani, and I'm praying one of them comes through.

Also, waitlist question....I know you can only have two waitlists a year. Since I have two on this reservation, if one comes through the other drops off, does that mean I can waitlist one more time during the use year?

Thanks for all your help. This is a first time DVC stay for all of my guests, and while AKL is gorgeous and I do love it, I just really want our room to "wow" everyone

No real difference between BWV and AKV-Jambo:
2 BR
Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo 1075
Boardwalk Villas 1071

You're actually gaining 4 sq. feet if you go from BWV o AKV-Jambo.

You can have two waitlists active, per use year, at any one time. So, if one comes through you can add another one. If your trip is over you can start over planning another trip and still have two waitlists possible.

Did that make sense? It's not two per year, period. It's two per year active. So you can have as many as you need, so long as it's never more than two at a time in one use year...

I think you will be fine at AKV/Jambo. There will be 5 seperate bedding options, and that's a plus. The issue will most likely be that there will only be 2 bathrooms, but since the master bath is actually across the hall from the master bedroom, that makes it less of an issue. We kind of liked that arrangement. Sure, you don't have the extra bath, but it is less of an inconvenience when it is separated like that.

I think the biggest issue will be closet space. A 2BR at AKV/Jambo has a small armoire in the studio (and only half of it can be used to hang up clothes) and another armoire in the master bedroom. At BWV, you would have a large walk-in closet in the master, a large closet in the studio and another large closet in the entryway to the 1BR. We like to unpack completely and AKV doesn't provide enough closet space to do that comfortably. It's a problem at Kidani as well. The Kidani 1BRs have a small closet in the master bath but due to the large pedestal safe and the high chair being stored in there, there isn't much room to hang up your clothes. Normally the high chair would be stored in the entryway closet but the washer/dryer is in that closet rather than having it's own space and there isn't enough room to fit the high chair in there along with everything else (vacuum cleaner, ironing board, etc).
