Change of clothes for legoland?.... How wet?

It looks like there are some "wet" rides in the pirates area of Legoland. How wet do you get? I'm wondering if I should bring a change of clothes for my kids, or if it is more sprinkles of water?

If I am right the ride that you are talking about is located between the water park and the regular part of legoland. Its a pirate ship that goes down a large drop into a big pool of water. Thank goodness we went on it when we where in our swimming suits because you get as wet as if you jumped into a pool. I have been on several water rides and nothing compares to it in how wet you get. Its a short ride but fun if you are ready for it. Because the splash is so big they take all personal items including your glasses because they will just get washed off your face. There is a bridge that you go over when exiting the ride and if you stay on it you can get splashed by the next boat and watch the shock only the riders faces. While up there we saw several people in jeans that where soaked to the bone. Can you imagine the chaffing-ouch! Swim suits would be your best bet

There is also a fairly large water play area in Pirate Shores that will get you a lot more than sprinkled. Check their website -- most everything in that land gets you wet! I'd definitely want a change of clothes!

Definitely need a change of clothes for the splash/play area if you are going to let your kids in it.

There is water from above and below.... and the other kids make a lot of splash!

Yeah, being adults without kids, we didn't go in the play area, but we went on the late so and got soaked. You can get pretty wet in the ride next to it to. However, the waterfall one has a loading area for each park, so that should give you a clue to how wet you'll get.
